"Hi, I’m Martha Rosenthal and I’m a sophomore nursing student from Cleveland, Ohio. Once I had come here I just loved it like right after the first visit. The college of nursing is right next to the brand new Chandler Hospital that they just built. So, I think that really appealed to me because a lot of schools don’t offer hospitals right on campus. I went on a tour there and I liked the staff and I wouldn’t have to commute for my clinicals. UK just has a lot to offer. I like that we have a lot of stuff around us. I’ve had friends come down and visit me and go to Keeneland and they just love it and they’re jealous. I would just describe it as beautiful. I mean it’s literally one of the nicest places I’ve ever been. I’ve been to the Derby and I honestly would still pick Keeneland because it’s so pretty. It’s just like so fun, it’s only like 5 dollars and they have those college days. It’s a nice break on the weekends and something to look forward to. I love being in a big state school but feeling small and feeling part of something bigger. But, I’ve made my own little niche here. I’m Martha Rosenthal and you’ll look good in blue."
