This video will show you how to adjust the height of your brake pedal to your desired ride height.
This method can be used on a variety of different motorcycles and ATVs but remember the process
may slightly vary from machine to machine.
So the first thing that we need to do is check the current ride height of our brake pedal.
We're using a tire iron to check the level, but most anything that's straight will work for this.
I like to run my brake pedal level with the top of the foot peg, but pedal position will
depend on the rider and the machine.
The adjustment process will stay very similar to the methods shown in this video.
As you can see, this pedal is sitting a little bit high.
So to adjust this, we're going to loosen the lock nut right above the brake clevis,
thread that up a little bit,
and then we're going to want to turn the top nut while we're holding the rubber boot so
that doesn't turn, and we're going to raise the rear end of the brake pedal, which is
therefore going to lower the front end of it.
Once you turn that a couple times we can check our level again.
Looks like we're still sitting a little high, so we're going to adjust it one more time.
So with that wrench just give it a couple more turns.
We should be sitting pretty good, so we'll check it one more time.
That looks pretty good, so we're going to snug that lock nut back up, and then
we're ready to ride.
