Review of The Thule Vertex 4 Hitch Bike Rack on a 2007 Toyota Camry - Etrailer

Today, on our 2007 Toyota Camry, we'll be test fitting the Thule Vertex 4 bike carrier for both inch and a quart and 2 inch hitches, part number th9029.We're going to begin our test fit. We'll remove the 2 inch adapter. We can then slide in the bike rack shank to the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole and install and tighten down on our anti-rattle bolt. With our bolt tight, our bike rack can secure to the vehicle.Now, we'll go ahead and give you a few measurements. Now, the ground clearance at our bike rack is 9 1/2 inches, and from the closest point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle is 3 inches. We'll now go ahead and pull the hitch switch at the bottom of the bike rack mast to allow the mast to tilt down. We can then open our trunk, and as you can see, we can gain access to the cargo area, opening our trunk completely with this bike rack.We'll next pull the hitch switch at the top of the mast to bring out the duel arms, where we can undo the straps to expose our cradles. Place the bike into the cradles and bring the straps around, securing our bike to the bike rack.There you have it, our bike is loaded and we're ready to head on down the road. That completes our test fit of the Thule Vertex 4 bike carrier, part number th9029, on our 2007 Toyota Camry.
