Hello all! Today I’ll tell about B-model of 42043 set. The model has two parts. I’ll start with this truck tractor. The truck is nice. But it is very similar to the main model. The cabin is fully replicated from the main model. The functions are also very similar: steering, opening doors, tilting cabin. You can see review of the main model for details. Suspension is rather hard. There is a cute fuel tank here. Unfortunately the tank falls off very easy. There is a spare wheel at another side. It's very low. The wheel touches the ground if you press suspension. There is the same six-cylinder fake engine here. Engine is ugly sticking out of the cabin. You can see one additional function. It’s a coupling. The trailer is locked by axis. This mechanism can be broken very easy. Some locking mechanism would be cool here. The second part of the model is semitrailer. Its functions won’t be working without the truck tractor. Now I’ll connect the truck and we’ll take a look at the functions. In building instruction this wire is drawn beautifully curved. But really it looks bad because the wire is highly strung. So the truck is connected and now we can remove additional supports. I specifically didn’t accelerate the video. It is very slow function. Other functions are slow too. The motor has a very significant reduction. It’s almost impossible to play with the model. Now we can play with whole model. There is a suspension in the semitrailer. Suspension movement isn’t large but it works normal. There are outriggers for the safe operation of the crane. The crane is the same as in the main model. The outriggers deploying mechanism is very interesting. I think this is the only cool feature in this model. Let’s see how does it work. At first, the outriggers are lowered and then outriggers are pulled. It’s made without additional actuators. It works automatically. This mechanism has the disadvantage. When I turn off the motor gearbox the outriggers subside and touch the ground :( The detailed crane working process you can see in review of the main model. But I want to note some features. It’s a real speed of crane rotation. How much patience is necessary to play with it? The crane rotates by only plus or minus 90 degrees. I think it’s possible to make a greater range of working. It's a limit. It's just tough! We can’t rotate crane manually because there is a worm gear here. So you have to wait every time. There is a hook instead of the clamp hook. But can you say that it is a hook? It's just tough! But there is one cool feature. Hook can be rotated. But the hook is horrible! There are a lot of spare parts and I suppose it’s possible to do something better. There is also a cradle in complect. So let’s summarize the review. The truck is attractive but it needs to be improved. If you want to play with semitrailer it is necessary to change gears to increase the speed of working. It is possible. So I think it is rather weak B-model. Bye!
