At last it's here; the long awaited successor of the Panasonic LX5
The LX7 is a compactcamera with a very light-sensitive lens
Or as this important person from Panasonic says:
**Sa terip herpaderp fries tjsa kworitty with pride at 1.4 Leica this sheet vaio abstinence**
Uuhm...no, we didn't get any of that either
Lets assume he was talking about the lens
The optics are very light sensitive, which makes the device interesting for the serious hobbyist
The diaphragm starts with 1.4, just like the recently launched Samsung EX2F
The LX7 has a special ND-filter, so you can still use small diaphragm in bright light
This allows to experiment with bokeh
The diaphragm can ben controlled on the lens
The good Full HD film function is present als well Sing along, everybody!
The body is solid and compact
The controls are intuitive and very similar to the Panasonic LX5
The camera is available around august or september for a retailprice of 499 euro
