60s Mod & Pop - Art ft. asos, topshop, primark, h&m - Haul rox s01e2/8

Hi guys, and welcome back to Haul rox on Videojug with me, Alana. This week's haul is all about kind of like a Pop Art feel, quite creative and modesque. [Music] So first up, we have this dress from ASOS. It is 25 pounds. It is like, really stretchy, so really kind of figure hugging, but in a good way. It really shows off your curves. What I really like about this one is it is a midi length, which is so flattering, and really kind of sophisticated. None of that kind of mini skirt business these days. With vertical stripes as well, it really makes you look slimmer and taller, so, always a plus. This is really, like, a stand out number. Really fun, looks quite simple really, but when it is on it is a show stopper. Now this dress is from ASOS again. It is 28 pounds and it is bright red. How mod is that? It is like a shift dress, so very 60s, very retro, very simple again, just one of those little zip up the back, but really, really cute and if you put on a pair of killer heels this will look awesome. Disco pants are everywhere at the moment. I got these ones from Topshop. They're 30 pounds. They originally did them in American Apparel. They were like 70 pounds, so these are a real steal. They are so tight, really figure hugging, really shows off your legs as well. You can see how tight they are. I really wanted a pair of red ones, because they really stand out from the crowd, and if you don't want to wear a dress or a skirt on a night out, these are perfect. So as I was saying, Topshop disco pants; they were such a bargain at 30 pounds, but I found an even bigger bargain in Primark. These are, 16 pounds. So cheap. I've worn these a few times now and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between these and the American Apparel ones from far away anyway. I cannot believe these are so cheap. I mean, if they had them in red as well, I would have gotten them from Primark, but they only had them in black. So disco pants are really great for nights out and in the day time. I sometimes wear these with just kind of like pumps, or a pair of vans, trainers, kind of sneakers, but you could also wear them in the evening. I've worn them a few times with a crop top as well. They're great. Now this is from ASOS and it is 18 pounds. These hats kind of remind me of kind of like the ska genre, so very Mod and they have them in black, but I thought I would go for something a little bit different and get this little cute maroon one. I bet everyone's going to be wearing these, like at the festivals. Cute little bowler hat. Nothing says fun like some polka dots, so I picked out this one and it's a little crop top. You know those disco pants I was showing you earlier, this would look great with them. It has a little slit at the front, so a little bit provocative. It is actually the crop top as well. You know, if you wear a pair of trousers with it, little bit of cleavage, you'll be fine. Don't wear a skirt with it; well, I wouldn't. This one is from Topshop, and it was 22 pounds. It just secures with a little, silver zipper in the back. really simple. This necklace I got from ASOS for 12 pounds, and it is so fun. I really like the bright colors, really stands out. It has got little yellow gems all the way around and skull heads in between, so; they are actually quite discreet, they're not too much and above it it's got diamante, so it's got quite a bit going on, but it's quite subtle. Fun printed tops are really in at the moment, especially Disney. This one is from Topshop and it is 16 pounds, and for Topshop, you know, that is quite a good deal. I have seen a few other ones with like dinosaurs and stuff so that is pretty cool. I like this one, because I am such a Disney fan and it is a crop top as well. I mean, I saw some in Forever 21 and I saw some on ASOS. This is a really cool casual top, so really great when you're sunbathing perhaps. Wear one of these little bad boys. Maybe some cute little denim shorts to go with it. I have some shoes. These are from ASOS and they are 45 pounds and I have never ever actually bought a pair of printed shoes before, but these were great because they are kind of like mod print and they are really fun. Would look so good with a pair of jeans or even like that shift dress I showed you earlier, that little red one. These would be perfect. Now, if you have 100 pounds laying around to buy a real pair of Raybans, do it, but I do not, so I got these ones. These are 5.99 from H and M. Now I would not really mind if I broke these, because they are so cheap. They have got the Rayban shape about them, the only thing it does not have is the little Rayban logo. Now you know how much I love ASOS. I got this necklace from there for 6 pounds. It is so simple, not too complicated, and triangles are so in this season. So my favorite item from the mod creative haul is the stripy dress from ASOS. Really like the length. Midi is so in this season, very classy and really good value for money as well.
