Welcome back to the Geneva Motor Show for our final regular report.
We start off with a car that we both quite like.
Yes, this beauty here is the Alfa Romeo 4C Spider.
A bit of a surprise, as we didn't know this open version would be here.
It's basically a targa version and technically identical to the coupe.
It has a 1750 cc petrol engine with 240 ps, though now in an open car.
Now, look at the front, as Alfa Romeo felt like changing the headlights.
These look more normal and a lot better. Right, Marco?
They say it's still a concept, but expect it on the roads in 2015.
Traditionally, Mercedes has a huge booth here in Geneva.
The news is a bit shabby. We hoped for the C-Class Estate, but no.
Just three limo's here. But that's alright, as the news is elsewhere.
Just my thing: the S-Class Coupe. Subdued, modest, understated.
It's great: less practical, just as elegant, more expensive. Pure wealth.
- Behind the wheel, this truly is pure wealth. It's so beautiful.
Smaller than the sedan, but it's a coupe after all.
The best thing: no matter what you wear, you always look good in this.
Nothing is silly enough, as Citroën proves with the car behind me.
Following the C4 Cactus reveal, this is the C4 Cactus Aventure.
I wonder if we'll see anything like this on the road.
This 'normal' C4 Cactus will soon hit the roads. And our AutoWeek Live event!
It's more sober than you'd thing. Based on the C4, but a lot cheaper.
And with tax benefits too! I reckon we'll see these air bumps a lot.
Hey, the facelifted Ghost!
- Fancy, right? I wonder if our king would like one.
SsangYong presents the XLV, a concept for a B-segment cross-over.
It's a hybrid and the 2nd row middle seat can be moved to the 3rd row.
That feature probably won't return in a production car.
But SsangYong will probably build a cross-over like this.
They went through some hardships but will make it in the end.
We promised we'd return to Porsche, ever since our first report here.
This is it: the Porsche 919.
A very special car, the new Le Mans racer, it's technically very interesting.
Contrary to Audi's V6 diesel, this is a 4-cylinder petrol hybrid.
In fact, it's a V4, and the hybrid module is similar to the 918's.
It'll be interesting to see if this holds up during Le Mans.
Ex-F1 race driver Mark Webber will be one of the drivers.
- Now, this marks the end of our regular video reports in Geneva.
But, we have two more specials coming up. Thanks and goodbye!
- Good job!
