Flavazum Takes Whānau Fitness Success to Nationals

Last year, health promotion group Flavazum won the Trustpower Regional Community Award. They're off to Invercargill to compete again, representing Rotorua for the top prize. Hinerangi Goodman met up with them earlier. According to Flavazum, this is what it takes to reawaken the senses; the mind, body and spirit. We started in 2009. We followed my sister Leanne in Zumba, then we formed Flavazum soon after in 2011. Warrior women at heart, and passionate at what they do, encouraging whanau to go after their goals aiming for the top. We believe that if whanau don't work together, it makes it harder for them to reach their goals. Given all these trophies, the group says the honour goes to all those who have strived towards their personal best. The challenge is set if you choose to accept it. Hinerangi Goodman, Te Karere.
