Learningtobeatlife's Joly Audition

Hi! My name's Joly. And I'm sorry I haven't been updating more. Life, all of a sudden, got really really busy. I just started college. Don't get me wrong: it's fantastic, but it's a lot of work. But everyone I've met here has been really cool. First of all, there's my roommate Bossuet. He is two years older than me, and he is the most unlucky fellow I've ever met in my whole life. But he never lets it get him down. He always has a smile on his face, even when he shouldn't. And it's just really, really nice hanging around him. He also, being older than me, knows the campus. He knows all the people. He knows all the teacher. And he knows, more importantly, of this student protest group that meets every now and then, run by a man named Enjolras. And... it's amazing. It's given me entirely new perspectives on... the world. To be honest, I'm glad it started. I'm glad I'm part of it. I'm glad I get to do this with them because I get to learn so much from them every day. I expected to learn a lot. But these -I don't even know what to call them- teach it in a way that I've never learned before and I am really enjoying it. And then there's the rest of the Amis. Most of us are students. Some of us have graduated or aren't in college at all. But we're all there for the same purpose. It's all to break down social barriers and create equality amongst people. Which I'm all for and they're all for. And they meet at this café called The Musain. And The Musain's a small, on campus coffee shop/bar/whatever (it kinda functions as everything). But we all frequent there. And there's this girl and she is the bartender there and she is probably the most beautiful woman I've seen in my entire life. I first saw her hands. She was pouring one of my friends a drink. I couldn't see her from where she was standing. And then I started getting to talk to her and I found out that I like her even more because she's really smart and she's really funny. She doesn't take anyone's ***. And she just makes me laugh. Like, *chuckles* she so... she's funny! She's smart! And she has a beautiful sense of humor! It just, like... I'm not generally very eloquent anyway, just, she's making me seem a lot less eloquent than normal because she's perfect. She's just great, okay?
