Being an astronaut is a very dangerous job once that the space conditions are very different of the Earth ones.
Astronauts have to wear a space suit to hold a pressure and temperature suitable to the human body.
The space suit also reflects the radiations and has ventilation a system to prevent the astronaut sweat, taking the risk of dehydration.
A single tear can lead to the astronaut's death in seconds.
They may acquire psychological damages, including depression, anxiety and abrupt changes in behavior.
They may also have physical injures such as muscle atrophy, low immunologic resistance, cardiac arrhythmia, cancer and DNA's damage.
This seems a very easy job, but is not, in some places they have to rise trees that have more than 100 (one hundred) meters high like we can see.
Another danger is when they work at the mountains, because rocks and trunks can roll easily over someone.
After cutting the trees, it's necessary to load the trucks with trunks, which is also a very dangerous work.
Miners have serious health problems due to the exposition to toxic gases, high levels of humidity and to numerous collapses.
On august 8th of 2010, in San José Mine, in Chile, we have the most famous case:
33 miners were buried 700 meters underground and about 5 kilometers from the mine's entrance during 69 days.
In Thailand we have one of the scariest and most dangerous jobs, Crocodile Wrestler
They work at the Zoo to show their abilities with crocodiles.
This pictures show how frightening is this job, crocodile wrestlers risk their life's all the time.
The volcanologists have to go near the magma to collect samples and "take the pulse" of the volcano.
Thus can predict an eruption and save entire cities.
The volcanologists come close to rocks with temperatures of 600 ºC,
which perhaps explains the fact of today only exists around 300 of these scientists, who are devoted to studying 1.500 active volcanoes on Earth.
Being a fisherman is dangerous because when you work on the sea for a period of time you are exposed to weather alterations that affect the ondulation,
and due to this, disasters such as wreck and fall overboard are frequent causes of injury and death.
The material used on fishing is also very dangerous, for example: it's common the hook gets stuck on who throws it to fishing.
Climbers are constantly exposed to hazards such as avalanches and landslides.
They have to climb high mountains and, as the altitude increases, the temperature and the percentage of oxygen in air decreases.
Sometimes the temperatures are so low that the tissues of the extremities (such as the nose, fingers, etc.) become necrotic ending up to fall.
The Hurricane Hunters are aircrews that fly into tropical cyclones in the North Atlantic Ocean and Northeastern Pacific Ocean to gather weather data.
Its not safe to these type of hunters to do their job, they need to go to the eye of a hurricane, 10,000 feet up,
to locate the storm's pressure center and measure its wind speed, some eventually die due to the hurricane's straingh.
The driller is responsible for interpreting the signals the well gives regarding gas and fluids with high pressure.
In an emergency he is also responsible for taking the correct counter measures to stop an uncontrolled well control situation from emerging.
At the offshore drilling rigs, it can be extremely labor intensive and can be physically and mentally challenging.
As oil is highly combustible, any oil operation involves serious risks of explosion.
The consequence of this environment is far-reaching, the most obvious danger is hearing loss.
Professional divers are a type of diver who is paid for his work.
Due to the dangerous nature of some professional diving operations, specialized equipment such as
an on-site hyperbaric chamber and diver-to-surface communication system is often required by law.
The duration of the dive is rather short compared to the preparation time:
it is needed a whole month for the diver to get adapted the ocean pressure, and the dive can take only eight hours with a previous preparation of 20 hours.
Diving is dangerous because it can lead to a lung or tympanic membrane rupture, an internal bleeding and even a cardiac arrest.
Divers can also get into a hypothermic state or may run out of oxygen and it will be a problem if they are not pull out of the water immediately, like many weren't and died in the ocean waters.
If they are pulled rapidly to the surface a blockage of blood flow to the brain may occur, so it's also very important to pay attention to that.
