Hi Hookah.org. I have another video review for you. Paul here and I am currently smoking
Koura Fruit Mix by Othmani tobacco.
As with all of the Othmani tobaccos, this is built as more of a traditional tobacco.
This is actually built as a traditional Lebanese tobacco. It's definitely fruity. It has a
distinct grape note to it, but I'm not sure what else is in there. The packaging shows
mostly apple and grape. I'm getting a little bit of a pomegranate note that I'm really
enjoying; it comes across as a nice fruit sourness, but it is mostly grape. I call this
a light to medium flavor. It's not a 'punch you in the face' type fruit mix. It reminds
me a lot of the other general mixed fruit flavors that have been popular in tobacco
for a really long time, but there's nothing particular distinct about it.
As you can see, the clouds are doing quite nicely. This is a fairly wet tobacco so it
should produce pretty nice clouds. It takes a decent amount of heat to get going. When
I first started this bowl, it had almost no flavor at all. After a while of heating up
in my crown classic mini and under a wind cover, I finally got some flavor out of it,
but it's still not super strong. There's a slightly oily mouth feel to it that I don't
hate. I actually really enjoy a tobacco with a smoke that has a decent texture to it and
this is pretty pleasant.
As I retro hale and as I pass it through my nose, I'm getting a little bit more of an
apple flavor. It's a natural apple and it's not the apple flavor that a lot of people
associate with hookah tobaccos, which is one of aniseed or apple skin. It actually has
a bit of an apple flesh taste to it, but it's in the background.
All in all, I call it a nice tobacco. I'd call it decently good and I think its worth
picking up if you like the classic general fruit blend that a lot of tobacco companies
make, but understand that it is mostly grape. I actually just noticed that in the ingredients
list, it's just tobacco, molasses, honey, natural flavorings and glycerin, so this is
a blend between both molasses and honey, which I actually really appreciate.
That's a nice tobacco. I'd give that a thumbs up. Once again, this is Paul for Hookah.org
