An American Idol veteran joins the season 13 judging panel! E! News reports that Jennifer
Hudson, who first appeared on Idol almost a decade ago on season 3, has officially signed
on as a new judge for the upcoming 13th season. Since leaving Idol in seventh place, Hudson
has made quite a name for herself, winning a Grammy and an Academy Award and becoming
the spokeswoman for Weight Watchers. Don't forget that FOX is set to replace the entire
judging panel, so that leaves several seats wide open for season 13, and E! News adds
that the show is also eyeing other former contestants like Kelly Clarkson, Adam Lambert,
