you know i think it's an excellent question as a board member you need to
be concerned about the level of dues being charged in your community
especially in today's real estate market
we don't want the level to go so high that your communities that much
less competitive the next community down the road
it's important that we understand that we have to charge adequate dues so that
everybody's paying an equitable share towards the eventual replacement of these
commonly owned assets
and we also want to understands that the reserve study is intended to protect
preserve and enhance
not only the quality of the physical assets within the community
but also the investment that each owner's made in the community
the reserve study should get your questions and solve problems
it shouldn't create problems
that's one of the reasons why Miller Dodson feels that it's very important
offer these continued services
so that we can work with the community to come up with
viable funding strategies
so that the way we approach these eventual reserve goals
meets the needs of the communities and doesn't create significant financial
issues
