is an English language course designed to provide you

In Language of the Kitchen, we use New York City to learn,

We'll explore food at the Greenmarket.
We'll learn about New York's famous restaurants and chefs.
We'll watch cooking demonstrations by chefs
at the award-winning International Culinary Center (ICC).
For students in this language class, the next step can be an intensive
culinary or pastry program at ICC.
At a top culinary school like ICC,
the more comfortable you feel using the language of the kitchen,
the closer you will be to achieving your professional goals.
That's why in Language of the Kitchen,
you and your classmates will build vocabulary from Day One.
You'll learn the language of ingredients, tools and techniques.
