I'm Rick Tobey, on behalf of Expert Village, and this is Blues Progressions Part Two. So
now we're going to play the twelve bar blues progression in A with the open chords using
the hammer notes. Now bear in mind you're going to muffle the strings with your right
hand, kind of get a nice, kind of muted sound. Make sure you've got a good hammer. You're
going to play the A as I demonstrated previously. With the D chord you're just going to use
these two fingers, the index finger and the second finger, index finger on the second
fret of the G string, second finger on the third fret of the B string. And we're going
to use the third finger to do the hammer notes. And then when we go to the E, we'll use the
index finger on the second fret and use the third finger for the hammer notes. So we'll
play the whole progression through. Here it goes. One, two, three, four.
