I came to London to meet Duncan.
I had time to watch him without him seeing me.
He's so focused he almost has a mean look when he trains on his own
but as soon as you say hello to him, his face lights up.
I had heard a lot about him.
When I met him, I wasn't disappointed.
Hi, Françoise. I've just met Duncan.
He's our English Invictus.
Regarding our previous concerns
about his "nice" and clean image,
he's actually a real warrior, it's unbelievable.
It's very surprising and paradoxical.
You can see the strength and the will in his eyes, he wants to win.
- He reminds me of Nick. - I agree.
He's not my favourite candidate,
but he has that same smile,
that sense of humour, that tenderness.
There's something very pure and healthy about him.
He has won Patagonia's Extreme Marathon
and he wants to break the world record:
running as many marathons as possible in a limited time
all over the planet.
- Incredible. - It's almost beyond human endurance.
- Good bye, Duncan. - It was so nice to meet you.
I will call you back as soon as possible
when I know the jury's final decision.
Thank you.
- Bye. - Bye, Brice.
