Now in this video I'm going to show you completely
faderless drum scratching. This is, this is
what we've been building up to with all our
record control and all our tearing exercises
is we can do an entire drum scratch without
the fader completely. This would be really
useful if you're working with somebody else
and you only have the one turntable to work
with. You can do a whole drum scratch while
they do their regular scratching. Ready? Let's
go. So don't even worry about the fader. Just
separate the two different samples.
We've got our basic drum scratch rhythm, but
we're just doing it with the record control.
It's all the same concepts as using the tears,
but you have to separate the two samples now.
So this is where all your record control that
I'm sure you've been practicing comes in handy
because now you can do a drum scratch without
the fader.
