Hi Guys, for those of you who know me
And those who don't my name is Ulises Leonce
You can call me TaTa Leonce, Godfather, or just Ulises
I've been getting a lot of request for videos
I don't do videos
But we're going to start doing some videos
because theres a lot of questions out there
and we're going to start getting to them better
I want to give a special thanks to GreenEyedWitch.com
And to Katherine
I love you guys
Now one of the biggest questions I got so far is
Why did I go into the Religion?
I went into the Religion because of health problems
I'm not going to get much into that
But I was going to die
And the religion has changed my life completely
It has blessed me with a lot of things
It's continued to bless me with a lot of things
There's a lot of challenges
And its just beautiful
Now the other question that I get a lot
Is what's the difference between "Palo" and "Santeria"
There's pretty much not that many differences
It's just that they work different ways
They're the same religion but they use different paths
Now you can go and follow the path of Palo
Or follow the path of Ocha
Which is up to you guys once you get in the religion
You can choose either to go one way or the other
Or you choose both
I do both
In Santeria i'm what's considered a "Oba"
An "Oba" is a priest and it' a pretty high up rank
In Palo i'm a "TaTa"
That's another high rank
I''ve been in the religion for seven years
I'm still learning
I'm still working
And there's one saying that I get and I love it
It's say's
I'm not your master
I'm not your teacher
I'm just a student that's ahead of you
Everything I know I will teach
Because I will continue to learn step by step
This
religion is so deep that it takes years
And I mean YEARS to learn all of them
And there's some people who's been there for fifty years
And
they still don't know everything in
the religion
Alright so thats how I got into
the religion
Another question I get is "How did you get initiated?"
Or "What' the first step?"
The first step is to find a Padrino
Here you go you found one
