In the end, what really matters is the novle enviroment to feel believeable and if we are talking about a mayan character to be readed as one. And also characters consistency and story cohesion When we write, besides characters and story we find something as important The atmosphere The atmosphere is to create and space, capturing by actions. The feeling and enviroment without even mention it. If we made a comparison with films it is when you see a movie where the scene begins and you can listen a background melody wich is generating suspense joy or an emotion. In Literature, we don't have those tools, but we count with features and descriptions that provides the same efect It is enough to read Allan Poe stories or Stephen King's to notice suspense and even fear Or in Jane Austen's stories to feel a romantic enviroment Or Michael Ende's, to produce a fantastic feeling To know how to create an proper atmosphere, is the right complement for any story If you have good characters and a good story atmosphere is going to join all elements Is like wather in any stew or food recipe With this, we are saying goodbye to Borra del Café.
