Welcome To G-TV! Today I will be showing you the ABB’s Powerline Series of Fusible Disconnect
Switches. The Powerline series includes a full range of UL 98 listed disconnect switches
from 30 to 800 Amps. These switches were designed to meet requirements in terms of high interrupting
capacity rated at 200 kilo amperes and long electrical life while occupying little more
panel space than the appropriate fuses. The fusible switch’s unique compact dimensions
allow panel size reduction in new applications and easily retrofit into existing applications
where space is limited. ABB’s fusible switches contain contacts on both sides of the fuse.
The fuses are totally isolated in the OFF position, reducing the risk of shock to authorized
personnel – even if the switch has been back fed. A wide range of fuse clip options
are available for fuse class CC, J, L, DIN, BS, and NFC. The powerline series is available
with an assortment of accessories including a variety of handles such as pistol handles
and *** operators to help accommodate multiple applications. A range of 6 and 12 millimeter
shafts can coordinate with selector and pistol grip handles for all disconnect switches.
