Hi everyone watching Kawaii girl Japan, I'm Mayu Watanabe. I just released a new single "Rappa Renshuchu" on July 10! This piece is a very summery song, and hope it is a very cheerful and also refreshing song. The song is about a guy who falls in love with a waitress girl working at a family restaurant, and he just can't get a chance to tell her about his feelings. It is a bitter-sweet summer romance. I had an opportunity to joint-perform with ORESUKABAND, and did the recording for Music Video together, that is when I met them officially for the first time. It was so nice to meet them finally since I had not had much chance with them before. I was actually nervous when recording together, it was very kind of them talking to me. I had another singing program with them and they are such sweet big sisters to me. Would like to go many places overseas for concerts. Definitely a tour in Asia for example. Lately I have fans coming to see me for my shake-hand event from Taiwan or Hong Kong. They always come see me, I want to come see them someday. And, someday going to Japan Expo. I would love to perform there, I will work hard to get there! So I hope to spend time and go to places and enjoy the summer like a teenager. I also want to do some outdoor activities and have BBQ with lots of good food. Lots of good stuff and more energy for upcoming events and concerts.
