Oda: How are you, friends? I’m Oda the Wombat. And Tamby is my lovely daughter.
Tamby: It’s an animal-free diet for us. Would you like to hear a tip on the dragon
fruit, also called pitaya? This delicious fruit contains several B vitamins and vitamin
C, calcium, iron, phosphorous, carotene, along with other nutrients and antioxidants. Other
benefits of eating this nutritious food include helping to lower blood glucose levels, reducing
free radicals which damage cells, as well as assisting in maintaining proper digestion
and a strong immune system.
Oda: Dragon fruit can be eaten raw, used in spreads, salads, or sorbets or made into juice,
or made into juice.
