Review of The Thule Self - Tensioning snow tire chains on a 2012 nissan versa - Etrailer

Today on this 2012 Nissan Versa, were going to be test fitting the Thule CG Tire Chains,
part number TH00023070. To fit our tire chains to the tire, were going to pass the chain
on the back side of the tire. As we feed the chain behind the tire, we want to make sure
that the yellow end of the chain is on our right hand side. Once weve done that, were
going to bring the two ends around to each other and hook them back together. Next, well
hook the front half of the chains back together. Well use the red hook and the red colored
chain link so that we have one continuous band around our tire.
Well push the plastic coated section of our tire chain back to the back and make sure
its sitting at the apex of the back side of the tire. With our chains connected, now its
time to attach the tensioning system. Well feed our tension cable through the stop device.
Once weve done that, well use the plastic hook on the elastic tensioner and hook it
into the end of our tension cable. Now, our tire chain is installed and all we have to
do is drive a little bit for the chain to properly tension and center itself on
the tire.
