Computer tv CES 2009
Alright, check it out. We're at Sony booth at CES. Look at this 9.9 mm thick
LCD panel from Sony. This is absolutely ridiculous.
We're here with, I'm sorry, your name was? - My name is Ranson.
Ranson? - Ranson.
Ranson, tell us about this TV, this thing looks spectacular.
Tell us about its specs and... - Absolutely, this one of the most
amazing products that we're actually showcasing here,
that is a production piece, okay guys.
This is available right now starting January 1st.
It's a 9.9 mm, 40" diagonal, 26 pound winged device.
Calling it a monitor because there's no tuner.
We have one HDMI port directly in the back.
Now, the great part about that is that we have a multiple selector here,
which is sending the signal wirelessly to the television
up to 65 feet away,
using a 5GH frequency. - Fantastic.
So basically the ideal solution for this is a walnut. - Ok.
You have something as sleek and sexy like this, you want to walnut it.
We have a special bracket that allows the TV to reside 20 mm off of the wall.
Now, that's similar to hanging a picture, ok? A picture or enlarged poster.
So once you get it on the wall,
we have our HD source connected to the transmitter,
sending the signal. The best part of that is, you can have up to 5 different HD sources
going to this particular product and you can select between the two
using either of the remote controls for the television, the selector box,
or your individual OEM product remote control. - Wow, that is extremely cool,
so you can have all your multiple sources, you don't have to hide any wires,
nothing needs to be hid, you literally just plug it in, put it on your wall
and it's gonna look amazingly sharp. Now I have a question,
do you guys have any plans on expanding this line to let's say,
larger sizes or smaller sizes? - Maybe larger sizes, but for now
this is the unveiling of this product. It just started shipping January 1st.
So, right now this is the unveiling of the first model, first generation,
and the only one of its type. - Wow, that's amazing.
And what are we looking at for MSRP for something like this?
- $4,000. - You know what, I think it's worth every penny,
because it's so sharp, it's going to look great in your house, isn't it?
Excellent. Thank you. -Fantastic!
Hey, thank you so much, it's s a pleasure. - You're welcome. Thank you guys.
