ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD: So, another fun game is called "Beastie Rap." So, everyone remembers
that group the Beastie Boys who kind of have had a rap style where one guy would set up
the rhyme and everyone in the back, his posse, would then fill the rhyme. So, for this, basically,
one member would step forward and they would get a name from the audience, preferably,
one syllable like John. Then you go, "Oh, yeah. I know a guy and his name is," and the
posse would then go "John!" JAYNE ENTWISTLE: John! ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD: And set up the
rhyme for him. And it would go back and forth, rhyming with the word John. So, I guess we'll
give an example of this. JAYNE ENTWISTLE: Sure. ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD: Why don't we get
a one syllable female name, Jayne, can you help me out? JAYNE ENTWISTLE: How about Jayne?
ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD: Okay, great. So, Jayne, why don't you start and set up the rhyme for
us and I'll posse in the rhymes. So, the first round would be just name Jayne and then come
up for a rhyme for that. JAYNE ENTWISTLE: Okay. "Well, I met a girl and her name is..."
ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD: "Jayne." JAYNE ENTWISTLE: "She's not funny. She's a big..." ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD:
"Pain." JAYNE ENTWISTLE: "I went to the store and she bought some..." ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD:
"Gain." JAYNE ENTWISTLE: "I know a girl and her name is..." ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD: "Jayne."
So, basically, the other players would have to rhyme with her. If they messed up the rhyme,
they might be out depending on the structure of the show or it'll just be hilarious, one
way or the other. But, really, you want to sell the game in the style of hip- hop. So
you don't want to be like, "Oh, ah, oh, ah, I know a guy and his name is John." You want
to be like, "Yo, I know a guy and his name is John!" JAYNE ENTWISTLE: John! ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD:
You really want to kind of set up that whole genre of hip-hop, Beastie Rap kind of feeling,
and that helps you sell the games. And that is the game of Beastie Rap.
