Reset device:
Soft reset.
If the device is malfunctioning, press and hold the Power key on
the back side of the device.
Then tap "Restart",
and then tap "OK".
The device will take a moment to reset.
Master reset.
A master reset will erase all information on the device
and return it to factory default settings.
Once you have performed the master reset,
all information will be lost.
From the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
Tap the Settings icon.
From the General tab, scroll to, then tap "Backup & Reset".
Scroll to and tap "Factory data reset".
Tap "RESET PHONE".
Tap "Delete all".
Then tap "OK".
The phone will take a moment to reset.
Alternate master reset.
If you are unable to reset the device using the above steps,
try the alternate master reset method.
Power down the device. Press and hold the Power lock key,
located on the back of the device, and the Volume Down
key.
When the LG logo appears, release the Power Lock key,
then immediately press and hold the Power Lock key again.
Release all keys when the Factory Data Reset screen
is displayed. Press the Volume Down key.
Select "Yes".
Use the Power Lock key to select.
Press the Volume Down key to select "Yes".
Press the Power Lock key to confirm.
