Accenture - Teaming up with serco for u.k. ministry of defence contract

Accenture has announced it has been chosen to deliver service transformation across the
MOD's Defence Business Services (DBS). A four-year, £36 million management contract was awarded
by the United Kingdom Ministry of Defence to the firm and the Serco Group PLC.
To demonstrate commitment and confidence in the consulting teams' ability to deliver business
savings and added-value services at DBS, an innovative ‘payment-by-results' contract
for back-office services has been agreed with MOD.
Ger Daly, managing director of Accenture's global Defense & Public Safety business commented:
"The combined operational and transformation experience of Accenture and Serco will help
drive effective and efficient shared services across the MOD," he said.
