In a journey to everywhere Between cities and nations In the presence of the Wise Remembrance The Lord of all hearts Has unified us... Has unified us all. And for the sake of memorizing the book We have knocked every door we shall continue this right path, before things come to an end All the praise is due to Allah, whom good is achieved through His blessings We traveled many lands with the Qur'an and its memorizers We got inspired, motivated, and full of joy I really hope my journey was not only to watch and enjoy I hope it's one of practical implication, and a beginning to memorize the Qur'an That's why we'll recap in this episode the important things to get us started on this journey Before you evoke in this journey ..you must follow a number of basic and essential rules Please keep up with this show as I will talk about each one of them The most important rule that will help you tremendously, is purifying your intentions only for the sake of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala Once you intend to memorize Allah's -swt- words ..then keep yourself away from all the contaminations of this dunya ..and make this effort sincere and pure only for Allah swt One of the important things that will help you much, is to seek assistance from Allah swt Because, memorizing the Qur'an is such a great task, it's not as light as one would think If it get's hard, don't think I am the one to make this easy for you nor your parents.. nor your Sheikh Only Allah is the one who makes things easy and doable A very important rule for one who memorizes Qur’an, is to abandon all types of sins Don't think that Allah will facilitate the memorization of His book for you while you insist on sinning! And that He will purify you and make you close to Him, No! " And we have facilitated the Qur'an for remembrance," "So is there any who will remember?" If a person is trying to remember and trying to memorize the remembrance, Almighty swt, will put all the circumstances in that person's service Everything in his life will be facilitated to help him Memorizing the Qur'an is not difficult It's made easy by Allah, all it requires is a strong commitment and motivation from your end Start today! Plan a small portion for everyday and set your intentions to memorize the Qur'an "..Our Qur'an...is a clear light...for the worshipers...over the centuries." When memorizing the noble Qur'an, you should dedicate your time and effort for this goal And this is one of the fundamental Once you start, never say “I have no time". Never work on it one day, and then skip many other days. Never make you daily memorization practice be of a secondary importance. Qur'an is a great deal, Don’t just give it time when there is nothing else to be done It is also important while memorizing the Qur'an To be away from the negative fellows A passive fellow may be a good, righteous, and religious person But this negative person may hinder your memorizing of the Qur'an May discourages you When you are memorizing the Qur'an stay away from negativity Don’t sit with these people, pay no attention to what they say Be with those who benefit you After I met him, I found the true joy in my learning of the Qur'an I know that you would be encouraged after hearing all these stories about memorizing Allah's book Some might want to start as soon as possible Even if they start-off wrong, which is not beneficial For example, this person might make memorization a personal effort At home, by theirselves, they start memorizing This is a very big mistake! It's very essential to learn the Qur'an through interaction with a teacher Be keen on finding that Qualified teacher Tell him that you want memorize the Qur'an the right way, with Tajweed The proficient is with the Nobel Ambassadors, Meaning he/she will be resurrected with the prophets and angels This is because he read Qur’an with perfection and Tajweed till he reached proficiency It is said to him on the day of resurrection: " Recite, and elevate, similar to how you used to recite in Dunyah. For that, your rank in Jannah is at the last verse you recite" These words are not told to anyone on that day, except for that who memorized the Qur'an! " Elevate just because you have memorized, oh Muslim!" " Elevate to the Firdos level, and meet the Giver" " Elevate for that you spent much effort to memorize it" " And you worked on it by your actions and by teaching it" Each project you undergo, needs a detailed plan! It needs a start and end dates You wonder when is the beginning? It is now! Start with the intention now The end is yours to determine It just depends on your ability and level of commitment you can give to memorize The end could be after a year, two, three, etc. What matters is not the time duration of your plan, what matters is the perfection you achieve through it If your target is 1 year, you need to memorize 2 pages daily If you wish to memorize it in 3 years, you need to memorize 1 page daily You can memorize Qur’an in 5 years You need to memorize a quarter of a Hizb (2-2.5 pages) every week This is equivalent to less than half a page per day And you will memorize Qur’an in 5 years This Qur'an is a great mercy that Allah Has blessed us with, to give us great opportunities in this life But most people are pre-occupied with other things, Busy with collecting money and seeking this life! ...without it, you will never be able to finish your journey memorizing the Qur’an That is Revision, Revision, and Revision! The daily plan for you when memorizing, is to revise at least a Juzz everyday! The weekly revision plan! Here, you chose one day of the week during which you may not do new memorization but, you revise whatever new memorization you had finished during that week. The monthly revision plan is to revise at least 5 Juzz each month The plans: Daily plan, 1 Juzz; Weekly plan, the week's memorized assignment; And monthly plan, 5 Juzz's! Believe me, 5 Juzz's are not so much at all One might say, how can I revise all of that?! I have personally met people who revise 5 Juzz,on a daily bases, After that year, and as soon as I finished memorizing, I put a revision schedule of 5 Juzz every day It is very important that when you memorize the Qur'an, That you live according to it, and apply it on each aspect of your life It would be a major calamity, if His messenger, may peace and blessings be upon him, witnesses against us on that day saying, "Oh my Lord, my people had abandoned this Qur'an" How bad?! That's why we should quickly return to it, Not just to memorize its words But to put it in action! I ask those of you who memorized the Qur'an, or intend to; During this journey, let’s beautify our entire lives By applying the commandments of Allah SWT that are in this miraculous book " Lovers in Jannah, their greeting is peace! Memorizer who has been honored by the words of Lord of all creations" " They recite in the late night, and between the days" " Oh Allah, make them with the Ambassador nobles of angels" Each experience reveals great treasures and secret's to individuals And during my journey memorizing the Qur'an I learned secrets that I revealed for you in this episode "Travelar with the Qur'an" Of the amazing treasures that help you continue on memorizing the book of Allah SWT Is to read the bibliographies of the righteous companions, may Allah be pleased with them Their tales are beautiful, and their stories are so touching And will impact your heart when memorizing the Qur'an One of these factors is: understanding what you are memorizing For example; today you want to memorize one page of the Qur’an While memorizing this page, open the book of Tafseer( explanation) too A sustainable small amount, is better than a non-sustainable big amount Some of you might get motivated to memorize the Qur'an listening to our show and learning about the secrets and tips given He or she might say; I would memorize some of the Qur'an today let me do half a Juzz, 3 or 4 pages I would say; No, don't be carried away If you can memorize only few but it is steadily going on continuously This is great!! It is very important when you memorize the Qur'an, to use only one Qur'an print! So don't memorize a juzz using one print, then change the print afterwards There are many prints of the Qur'an, and the annotation of each is very different - Qur'an is your prescribed way of life. - It's the word of your Lord - And it's the accepted interceder on the day of judgment - It's the speech that's beautiful in content, beautifully articulated, -like a well-rooted tree, with tasteful fruits. - And it's the best, and no speech can get any better Of the important secrets, is to utilize Fajr (down) time for memorization Those of you who started or decided to learn the Qur'an Make sure that Fajr time is a central time in your important journey Your mind will be clear, so memorize a page or two You'll find that the Quality you achieve is much better during that time ... this is an advice from the heart, pray the voluntary prayers with what you memorized Of the important secrets is competition! You compete with one of your peers Chose one of your friends and challenge each other in memorization of the Qur'an This is so encouraging! You may say I don't have a friend to join me on that Ask your wife for an example, and compete with her to memorize! A very very important point, and an essential feeling a memorizer must possess is to humble oneself to its recitation, and to feel the words in heart! " It is the peace for my heart" " And my friend in times of distress" " And it's the medicine for my sickness" " And it is the light of my grave" It is advisable, when you are starting and going on memorizing the Qur'an To chose from your surrounding people Loving people who would share your dream with you Another important secret is If you memorized a large amount of the Qur'an This is very important, write it down Try to practice fast reading It is important! You may ask. how? It is called [Al hader] It would boast your confidence Listen and follow the recitation of a proficient reciter, for every page you memorize Listen and repeat while in the car, at home, use the various audio devices you may have what is nicer than having your own hand-written Qur'an! Written with your hand! so, when you come to revise your memorization write that page on your notebook from memory, as if you are reciting If you made a mistake, it’s OK, but don't copy from the Qur'an! repeat, once, twice, thrice...up to 10 times You would perfect that page, by the will of Allah It matters to me that you not only memorize the Qur'an, but that you perfect it too! Therefore, I give you this tip that will help you memorize the Qur'an with perfection Let's assume you will memorize a page today Once you fully memorize it, recite it again, while looking into it Without moving your eyes away, look and recite it at least 15 times! This repetition will actually save the image of that page in your brain, for a very long time! Great secret, hold to it! After he memorized the Qur’an, what was the effect of that on your family? Your household, and daily life? It is as if a bright light has entered our house, I praise Allah for that. Praise to Allah. Allah's Greater! As a memorizer of Qur'an, this is a habit that should never stop! Never leave the night prayer " The holder of Qur'an is known by his nights, when people are asleep" " Your are my life, and your Fatiha is the love of my heart" " And you are both its way and means" " Your reciter is with the nobles of the heavens" " And the one who memorizes you, is in the high ranks of Jannah" " My Qur'an, you are my life, you are my life, and I repeat your meaningful words" This is the concluding remark for me in this show I didn't prepare it in advance, it is coming straight from my heart We initially spent a long time, months, before starting this journey that you all watched With my beloved brothers, the production team, we prepared for the show We all had only one goal in mind How to convince you, that you and your children all Can memorize the Qur'an To demonstrate to you the great blessings you'll find in memorizing this Qur'an We told all what you needed to know, and we brought up so many examples from the countries we visited I taught you all the tips, how to memorize, what to do if you find it difficult How to memorize in 1, 3, or 5 years When to revise.
