Adding a Student to Your Canvas Course

In this short video we will show you how to enroll students into your Pierce College Military Program Canvas course. We start off by being in your course. Using the left hand navigation menu go to People. Once the People page arrives, go to the right-hand side of the page and select Manage Users. The page will change to settings; and notice we are already on the Users tab. Select Add Users at the bottom, left-hand center of the screen. You'll need to know the Student Identification Number of your student, which you can get from the instructor Briefcase. In this case we will be using or a SID for a Sample Student. Click continue. Notice it verifies by it providing the full student name and the SID. Click on "OK Looks Good. Add this one user." And the user has now been added to your course.
