Hi! I'm Abhisek Pattnaik & today in this tutorial I'll show you how to extract or download webpages to your computer for offline browsing. Well, to Get Started, Let's the WinHTTrack software Let's open it This is WinHTTrack Website Copier now write your Project Name. Enter a Project Name that best suits your project you're working on e.g. if you're interested in downloading a site such as CPlusPlus you can just write C Plus Plus here and in the Project Category is Tutorial site so you can write Tutorial & choose a Base Path uh... and your Project files will be under Base Path then our folder with the name of your Project Name. Now enter our URL. You can click Add URL and enter cplusplus.com & click OK Now Set Options & choose the Limits umm... Maximum External Depth to 0 and this one to Unlimited and the Max Connections per Seconds will be 10 then in the Flow Control choose 8 as the Number of Connections then Timeout will be 60 Seconds click Links & Test the Validity of all links and then Get the HTML files first In the Build check No Error pages & Hide Passwords In the Spiders, you need not have to change anything and in the Experts too. In the Log Index, you need to check the Store all files in Cache and uncheck create Log Files and check Make a Word Database In the Browser ID, you can select the most recent one & select none for the HTML footer In the Scan Rules, this is very important & you can delete these. And now, if you're downloading a site such as cplusplus.com, so you can enter the plus sign and then the cplusplus.com slash star dot css & then copy the path & write star js & then the png files from the server umm...this is basically, you're implementing the scan rules so that you know what to download, which files to download you do not need any external images or css or javascript, so you're basically limiting the umm... resources to the particular site you're downloading from so one more resources we'll be including is the Web Fonts and these come in varieties such as svg, woff & tif.. & so..tiff and so that's all the extensions you need and click OK. Then click Next And you can select the provider you want to connect to & if you're a Dial-Up user, you can select Do not connect to that provider if you're already connect and you can uncheck Disconnect when finished if you do not want to get disconnected, then uncheck it. Or you can also specify a particular time or schedule at which it will get started. It uses 24 hours format for schedule management and you can specify 2:05 or this accounts to 2... 2 O' clock AM and click finish so that it will start at 2 O' clock ... 2:05 O' clock ... 2:05 ok now you can click Cancel to cancel it because i don't need it and click quit so if you go to C...sorry.. D: drive, then My Websites, then you can see this C Plus Plus folder is created with the same name as the Project Name and you can simply double click it if you would've downloaded then here there would've been an index file... index.html file & you could have just opened it in any browser you want and that's how you Download Websites.
