And now we talk sports with Tumamao Harawira.
Tena koe, Tu.
Rugby - Hikawera Elliot has been kicked out
by Hawke's Bay after eight years due to his unavailability this year,
according to their bosses.
Do you think he should have been kicked out?
Perhaps the big question is why have players
like Israel Dagg and Zac Guildford been given contracts?
It's not as if Hikawera Elliot is NZ's number one ***.
His position in the All Blacks isn't set in concrete.
So the way I see it, there's something else going on.
Maybe there's some tension between Hikawera Elliot
and the coach. I don't know.
But I don't believe it's based solely on his chances
of making the All Blacks.
I agree with you.
- As you should.
Netball - there's been some conflict between Irene van Dyk
and Australia's West Coast Fever. What do you think that is?
Is Irene van Dyk right in complaining,
or should she have just kept quiet?
I think this style of netball
was something we came up with in the past,
so I don't believe what Irene van Dyk has said.
Yes, I saw the game and she was being hassled
by the Fever's defence,
but that's where netball is right now.
Don't whine about it.
Our teams do put up a fight too,
so I don't agree with van Dyk's comments.
League - your team, the Warriors, will they beat the Canberra Raiders?
This is a big one, and I think it's been about 16 years
since the last time we won a game there.
- So after this it will 17 years?
No way.
For me, the only problem is with the Warriors' props.
At the start of the year, they were shaky,
but in the past few games against the Rabbitohs and Cowboys,
they've improved and continue to do every week.
So we've reached that level.
If our players all turn up, we'll win.
But playmaker Terry Campese will be on the Raiders' bench,
so that's another challenge.
But I believe this time next week, the Warriors will have won,
and this the week after that, the Kiwis would have won too.
The good thing about you is your unshakeable faith
in your team no matter how badly they perform.
Breakers vs Perth Wildcats tonight - how will they go?
That's going to be a massive clash.
The Breakers have only won three times in Perth,
and we know that in past games the Breakers have smashed them.
And this is Dillon Boucher's last game.
It could also be Cedric Jackson's last game.
- If they win?
Yes, if they win.
So that's what's happening with Dillon Boucher and Cedric Jackson.
But Perth is a fortress, one which we should be able to sack.
If the Breakers want to retain that title for a third time,
they need to win this game.
Tumamao Harawira, thank you for your time.
