Rosqvist Waldegård Flag off Rallye Monte Carlo Historique 2014

- Of course! Yes, I said! - It's nice to see those who will run the, Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique from the start in Stockholm. - I was there and flag of the drivers. - Many people came to see the start nearby the Grand Hotel. Good luck! Ewy Rosqvist - Your name? - My name is Ewy Rosqvist von Korff - Everybody smile! - YES ! - Have you run the Monte Carlo? - Oh, yes! Four times. But time was different then. - We had enormously difficult in the Alps, with lots of snow. We had to put on tire chains in the mountains. It was hard for two girls to do this. But it was very interesting. - We are looking for the specifications of your old car to build a similar one. - Have you contacted Stuttgart ? -  I have been asking for the car, but no one knows where to find it. - They asked me to contact the Restoration Center, and they promised to get back to me. With a bit of luck, maybe they'll find it. - When I read your book in 1963 (Fahrt durch die Hölle), (Eng: Ride through hell) which I still have, I was enormously impressed, already back then, and the dream has stayed with me ever since. - Before start, the cars must inspected. - Hello! 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 ! "Ewy "inspect" all headlamps .." - I wonder ... - If you don´t win with this car, with all this technology ... - Then you sleep on the boat from Gothenburg, and then from the boat ? - Then it is non-stop, until we get to Valence (in France), -then it's almost two days in the car. - When we get into France, it's all small roads. - We finish the race at 1.30 AM, on January 29th. - The results will be published at 12 o'clock, on the same day, and then it's time for the celebrations (Award Ceremony Gala). - Then we go home the day after. - You're supposed to jump in the pool? -  It's most likely an ice rink. - We had to jump into the pool, with all clothes still on. -  Don´t give them ideas. - I wish you good luck! And I hope that everything goes well. - Those of you who have champagne,  in your glasses and everybody else too. - We have to make a toast to Ewy .. who raced this monster in that damn speed,  she drove at the time. - Congratulations, Ewy! - And at the same time, we wish Åke and Anna good luck in this car! - Cheers to you! - STEP ON THE GAS ! - What did you think about the Monte Carlo Rally?  Was it challenging? - It was indeed a challenge in the mountains, especially during the snowstorm. - It's hard to put on tire chains in the mountains. - Today it´s not necessary. - Ewy!
