Hey there YouTube! This is Chris from Cleaver Film FX back with another kind of quick tutorial I just wanted to show you guys how to show a grid in After Effects and it's really easy there's a shortcut for it its command apostrophe. Okay you go to View, show grid and you can also do the shortcut for that which is command apostrophe and I honestly don't use this, this much but maybe I will start using it more, it probably is more helpful for certain things like aligning these boxes to the grid, it's nice to be able to see some lines on there that you can then make sure everything is in perfect alignment, you can't really tell that it's align because I defocused some of these things but they are aligned trust me and to remove it obviously you can just take it off.
