Hello.
Last year in August
I was involved in a very interesting project,
that was aimed at encouraging kids with leadership skills
to work on community issues.
After a month of being involved in the project,
me and my mom were passing by a kindergarten
operating in our city.
I saw the poor conditions of the kindergarten and thought:
"If it looks like this from the outside, how would it be inside?"
I asked my mom to let me go in and talk to the director.
After our conversation with the director, I realized
that indeed the internal situation was worse.
The kids haven't used any new stationary for a long time.
Knowing all that I thought:
"What can I do to help the kindergarten?"
What do you think I did?
I decided to organize a charity event - Sportlandia.
I was convinced that only a healthy body can house
a healthy soul and that only the healthy soul
is capable of philanthropy.
I chose the date for Sportlandia
and started organizational activities.
Finally the big day arrived. Everything went
better than expected.
Most importantly, all the participants brought
stationary with them.
Everything ended very well.
The next day I took all the stationary
to that same kindergarten.
The kids were happy and I was satisfied.
I managed to do something useful for the kindergarten.
Do you think I would stop at one project?
Of course I didn't. Seeing the results of my work
I got inspired to organize another charity event.
This time it was aimed at helping families in need.
This time I decided to organize a charity concert,
all the benefit from which, in the form of foodstuff
would go to the families in need.
To organize the event
I had to get the approval of the Mayor of my city, Gavar.
And even though people were telling me:
"Why do you even need that? He won't approve it anyway. Don't get yourself into trouble".
But I didn't listen to anyone.
I went to the mayor and presented my project
and eventually got his approval.
Two weeks after getting the approval
the charity concert took place,
all the benefits from which went
to 10 families in need in the form of foodstuff.
With this and my upcoming projects, I want to demonstrate
that even a teenager under 16
can do something to help their peers,
and stand by the young
and people in need in their community
and help to reduce their burden.
One only needs to have purposefulness and willpower.
I'm seeing the change I want to see in my community
with my own experience.
What about you?
