In creative bankruptcy news, NBC bought Hannibal Lecter TV series project from Bryan Fuller,
creator of cult favorites like Wonderfalls and Pushing Daisies. This only few days after
NBC announced plans to revive Stephen J. Cannell's Wiseguy. NBC really hungry--no pun intended--for
some hit hour-long shows.
Hannibal Lecter? Really, NBC? What else do we need to know about Hannibal Lecter that
Manhunter, Silence of Lambs, Hannibal, Manhunter for Stupid People and Hannibal Rising have
not told us already? He unrepentant cannibal. Lead character without inner conflict not
exactly make for compelling 13-episode TV series. It like if HBO greenlit some show
about movie star doing nothing but having fun with his three best friends, his ***
agent and some hot chicks that he *** and then HBO let that show go on for eight...
Uhh... wait minute.
Woops.
Anyway, me Grimlock got one thing in common with Hannibal Lecter. Me enjoy biting into
things. But me not need four movies and one possible TV series to explain why me enjoy
biting into things.
Me Grimlock think Hannibal Lecter got much less interesting when he given more screen
time and his past got revealed. Why do Hollywood feel it necessary to explain Hannibal Lecter?
He crazy! Why it take 13 episodes to explain that he crazy?
Hannibal also pretty useless and incompetent killer. He failed to kill Brett Ratner on
set of Red Dragon when he had chance. And because Hannibal Lecter not get rid of Brett
Ratner, who since that time, subjected us to that crappy X-Men sequel and then another
round of hacky and lame jokes about Asians with Rush Hour 3 and then those disturbing-to-think-about
images of him banging Olivia Munn and now that "rehearsing for ***" controversy, Hannibal
Lecter can suck it. F-f-f-f-f!
Me Grimlock ending vlog!
