Hello. In this video we are going
show you how to view different map styles for certain zoom levels in Digimap Roam.
First, search for your loaction using a place name search,
then zoom into the neighbourhood level.
It is the four most zoomed in levels that have different map styles available.
Notice the "New" label on the map content control.
Use the drop-down menu to choose between different maps styles.
This is the Standard VectorMap or VML style;
notice the high level of detail and broad range of features shown.
The VML 10k raster style looks similar to the default 10k Raster maps,
with the addition of contours.
When you switch to the raster map you can see the loss of detail.
There is also a VML StreetView style. This is a sparse
dataset in rural areas
but very clearly mapping in towns and cities.
Zoom in to the Detailed View to see the alternate style for MasterMap.
The Line Drawing style will be very familiar to those who make planning applications or
remember the old Land-Line maps.
There is also a VML Plan style similar to this
using VectorMap Local data,
for the more zoomed out views.
This map is made with the MasterMap data.
All of the new alternative styles can be customized by switching features on or off.
Thank you for watching.
