Hi!
I do not wish this to you but it may happen that the watch will got a fog,
because of splatter beer or just get wet in the rain
Today, I would like to show you three ways what to do with a steamy watch.
There are methods depending on what conditions you are currently in
The first is - If you see condensed water vapor under the slide
and you are just outside and you do not have any tools or penknife with you
it is possible to unseal the watch by pulling out the lace, as if you wanted to set the time.
So unsealed watch should be placed in full sun, lace up, so that the water can evaporate here
and when the water evaporates, the watch will bask in the sun, and that's it.
If you are at home and the sun has hidden behind heavy clouds
the watch as same as in previous method, unsealed with lace, you can put it under the light bulb switched on
about 10-15 cm under the bulb.
and the same will warm up, and the water will run away from the watch
The third way assumes that you have at least a penknife to open the watch envelope -
After opening the watch envelope and unsealing the lace, put it somewhere where it can bask
However, the opening of the lace will cause that the water vapor will evaporate even faster
This is a method recommended by me only if we have a really steamy watch
Why recommended ONLY if it's really badly vapored?
because some people may later have problems (depending on the watch) with closing the watch envelope
sometimes they are sealed envelopes
it is always safer to try with the lace first and then with the envelope.
For sure, never ignore such a topic if there is water vapor under the glass
and someone will say "eee, it will gone away itself tomorrow ..."
in a few days it may disappear for a while, but this water is still inside and it can lead to corrosion inside.
So that's all for today. If you liked it, leave a thumb up and subscription ...
well ... bye! :)
