Hey there, Summoners! Welcome to Disciple's Season 4 Update: Episode 1: Where Teemo Dies.
I mean, where we review the upcoming vision changes. Remember that everything shown in
this video is on the Public Beta Environment, and might not be exactly what comes out on
the live patch. In today's episode, we'll be reviewing the new ward system, the new
vision items, "trinkets," as well as the new brush layouts. You can click on any of these
three topics to skip ahead. [Teemo dies] *Executed!* Sight wards have been renamed "stealth wards"
and are limited to a max of 3 per player at any given time. Laying down a fourth will
cause the first to expire, identical to current sightstone mechanics. Vision wards are now
limited to one per player, have an infinite duration, and are always visible to enemies
within sight. A seventh inventory slot has been added for vision items called "trinkets."
Trinkets are free to purchase at the beginning of the game, are upgraded immediately at level
9, and can be upgraded a second time for 475g. The Warding Totem places a 60-second ward
on a 2-minute cooldown. This can be upgraded to increase the duration to 2 minutes, and
then again to 3. The Sweeping Lens can be used to disable and reveal nearby traps and
wards for 4 seconds on a 3 minute cooldown. It can be upgraded to increase the range,
decrease the cooldown, and grant true sight. The Scrying Orb reveals a target location
for 1 second on a 2.5 minute cooldown. It can be upgraded to increase the range and
decrease the cooldown. Riot's trimmed their bush on Summoner's Rift, giving many brush
spots a minor change to size, shape, or location. Thank you for watching this Season 4 update.
