Jesus Freed Me from Doing Sin

Today I want to talk about the changed life that Jesus brought me on when I turned to
him in repentance. You see I used to follow my own way, and I was living the old way of
sin. I was practicing sin daily. I didn't focus on Jesus, I wasn't interested in focusing
on Jesus. He wasn't who I lived for. But you see, that all changed when a few years ago,
I realised that I was on my way to hell and I had to repent. I decided to get on my knees
and repent and turn to Jesus. What happened was, he brought me on this new way that was
free from sin. I got freed from evil. I used to be someone who practiced sin most days,
but after I turned to Jesus, he FREED me from practicing sin so that I no longer practiced
sin on most days. I no longer was a practicer of sin, and I am still free. You see Jesus
set me free, and he really is a new way; he is a new way of purity, and he makes us righteous,
holy, and frees us from addictions. He frees us from our old ways and he gives us new ways,
because he is truly the Lord God, and he has the power to free us from our old ways. You
see Jesus means a life change. He means NEW LIFE. But you see people don't have that new
life because they don't know him. They never went to him, that is why it is written in
1 John 3:6, that those who continue in sin practicing sin, do not know him...It is true,
for if you continue to practice sin, you do not know Jesus and he does not know you. But
when you turn to Jesus, you get a new way of purity. Of corse the flesh is still the
same; it is still evil and has desires of sin and wants to do sin, and tempts you, and
tries to go the way of sin. But the thing is: once you have the new way, and you are
really clinging to the new way -- you have good ground in your heart, you are living
every day putting away the flesh's feelings and thoughts and desires and ways -- you are
busy living the NEW WAY that Jesus gives you when you turn to him. Many people don't know
this new way. Jesus has not given them this new way. But I am here to tell you that, I
came on the new way, Jesus gave me the new way. It was because I decided to trust in,
and turn to him. He is going to give it you also, if you decide to repent, turn from your
sins, trust him and seek him, lay faith in him, and he will do the same for you also.
