Open Door Internet - Training the long term unemployed as web developers in yeovil, england

Hello I'm Rob. I'm a web developer from Yeovil, in England. I just want to talk to you really briefly about a new project I'm opening called Open Door Internet I've been a web developer for the last five years I program in PHP and MYSQL and I've decided to take a sideways step and do something a little more meaningful than just knocking out commercial website so I'm opening a training center that's going to be providing training, and hopefully employment, for the long term unemployed because there's something really really unique and different about web development; there's no outgoing material costs really it's just time and effort involved in making websites. so I reckon if I take a bunch of unemployed.... ... long term unemployed... people with very limited skills, but good aptitude and a bit of effort, and we sit together in a room I can teach them how to make websites, I can teach them how to program I can teach them to do usability studies and accessibility studies. I can teach them how to use content managment systems, and together we can learn and generate decent websites. And those websites they can be for charities, they can be for local organisations they can be for businesses and by doing that we should be able to bring in enough funding to keep this scheme going. so...
