You got married didn't you?
Yes, and I arranged my own flowers...
As a designer, most of my work comes from arranging flowers for weddings.
But today, I'm working on the most important wedding of all...
...My very own wedding!
Yesterday, I've been busy with my sister making these arrangements.
These are in little jam jars, ready to be hung.
I have flowers in vintage jugs of all sizes and colours!
In another shed, I have flowers for the entrance.
In another shed, I have flowers for the top table...
Everywhere is full of flowers!
Today, I'm working on the flowers for the bridesmaids.
Here, I have some mint...
...It has a fantastic aroma, and is held up by the other flowers in the bouquet.
I'll put all of these in the water before I start.
Here, I have the flowers for my sister's bouquet.
Usually, I cut them down the night before...
...Then place them in some water over night.
I have three types of roses. I've chosen David Austin roses, the aroma is beautiful.
I have a blue nigella here...
...And of course, I have to have some muscari!
I never thought I'd have pink flowers on my wedding!
Even though I like pink, I have a very stubborn daughter who's in love with pink...
...Of course, she's had her own way!
I'm using this ribbon to tie them together at first.
It's very strong.
...And this is where I need more hands!
I need to make sure that all the stems are placed in the water.
And now, I'll start on Mared and Nanw's flowers.
The flowers will be more dominant in these bouquets to match their colourful dresses.
And of course, when you're making a bouquet for a child, you need to think of the size of their hands.
I'm starting with the rose a lot lower down than the other bouquets.
Build it around the same way as the others.
Use ribbon once again to tie them together.
Well, there we go. This one is ready now!
I'll have to avoid touching them now!
But, I have plenty of things to get on with!
All the flowers need to be taken down to the marquee...
...Excuse me!
It was a late night for me before finishing everything off...
...But everything was ready before the guests arrived!
We also had some sunshine!
