Hullo! Um, just before I get started, I want to say a wee bit of a sorry. Because um, I
just noticed I have a YouTube inbox. So to all the people who've sent me lovely messages
and I haven't responded, I didn't realise! Didn't realise I had a YouTube inbox.
So I promise I'll try and get back to you as soon as I can.
Anyway, if you've seen my last couple of video, you've heard me whinging about how much I
hate my eyeliner. So I went shopping and I bought five different
kinds of eyeliner. These ones. So I thought, if you're ever in the same predicament as
I have been, I'm gonna save you the trouble of buying five eyeliners at once, and tell
you what I thought of each one. The one I was using before was Rimmel Waterproof
Gel Liner. Which is the second worst eyeliner I've ever used. The worst is CCUK waterproof...
"waterproof" *snort* liquid liner. That stuff sucks. Look, I found one. It looks like this.
Bleurgh. But I think it's been discontinued, so we're safe. I thought a good substitute,
seeing as they're kind of twins, would be this Revlon Colourstay... do you think...
maybe... oh and, while I'm at it- You do think maybe Rimmel's trying to copy
Revlon? Just a little bit? Anyway, I got this one... and this Revlon Colourstay Liquid Liner
as well, I got Rimmel Exaggerate liquid liner, Maybelline Line Stiletto, and Loreal Blackbuster.
So I'll start with this one cause it's the one I thought would be the best. The Revlon
Creamy Gelly stuff. This I found actually to be pretty thick and gluggy. I wouldn't
say you could do fine lines with it. But on the plus side, it stays on. You can cry with
this on and it won't move. I thought that was good. Always a plus. The same deal with
the Revlon liquid liner Colourstay blah blah. That stays on really well! I first tried it
by putting it on my hand, and it stayed there for 3 days even though I washed by hands about
10,000,000,000 times in that time. It seems quite waterproof, even though it's
not meant to be, so it lives up to its name of "colour stay".
But... On the con side, it doesn't like to be applied
thickly. So if you want big thick lines, it seems to sort of wipe itself off, if that
makes sense. It's quite a good one though. Its twin, the Rimmel Exaggerate, hmm... it'
really good for doing thick patterns, whatever, good for eyebrows, but! It's not waterproof
at all, if your eyes water or whatever, it's just... black tears of sadness. Also it flakes
after a few hours which is a shame. The Maybelline line stiletto one I found quite good. It's
thin and watery when you put it on, but it lasts well. You can do fine lines with it.
So that one was quite good, I thought. But! My absolute favourite, the winner, not
entirely sure why, is the Loreal Blackbuster. It's kinda cool. It looks like a felt pen.
I've been using it for my eyebrows. You can do really precise, fancy stuff with it. It
stays on well, it's not waterproof which is a bit of a pity. I just really like this one.
I like how easy it is to put on. Doesn't flake, I like it, it's the winner. U R A WINRAR.
Yeah well I guess that's kinda that done really, isn't it? Dunno if you found it helpful. I
had fun finding out. I've been combining them together for their various superpowers. Like,
the two Revlon ones together. Using the liquid one for an outline, and the gel one to fill
it in, so I can do thick lines that look definite. That's cool. Well that's that done. Sorry
it's been a while since my last video. Bye!
