Hi, my name is Karl James, owner of Creolesoul Catering located in Round Rock, Texas and
on behalf of Expert Village, I'm here to show you a Creole pork chop recipe. Now, let's
take a look at the ingredients that we're going to use to make our Creole pork chops.
We're going to use the tops of some green onions. We're going to add a little Serrano
pepper for spice. We're going to use some chopped parsley, some bell pepper, yellow
and red, red and yellow. We're going to use some celery. This is our Holy Trinity, the
onion, bell pepper and celery. Of course, some garlic. We're going to also, like I mentioned
earlier, we're going to roast our bell pepper and our onion before using it to bring out
the sweetness. Seasoning, we're going to use some black pepper, some paprika, some, of
course, sea salt, a little Creole seasoning, that actually says "more spice", some garlic
powder, some cayenne pepper, a little vegetable oil. We're going to use this to brown our
pork chops in the skillet, as well as, we're going to drizzle some of this onto our bell
pepper and onions before we stick it in the oven to roast. And the star, of course, our
pork chops. Like I was saying earlier, with the pork chops, the modern day pigs are being
raised very lean so the pork is now considered the other white meat. Anyway, these are the
ingredients that we're going to use for our Creole pork chops. Let's move on.
