The Best Kpop Songs of 2013

[S]It's half way through of 2013 and we're going to talk about the best kpop songs of 2013 thus far We are going to be listing them in no particular order because we can't seem to agree upon what song we like more than the other. [M]It' better than your song [S]...Stupid song, you started... Some of these didn't get a chance to get reviewed for a KMM but we really liked And some of the songs we Did review So let's talk about those now. 2PM's "A.D.T.O.Y." Oh My God guise... Oh My God... I Luv this song~ I like this song a lot, I think it's a really good song. It's definitely better than the song that we reviewed for Music Monday. But I'm not as in love with it as Martina is. I bought it right away off of iTunes and I listen to it all the time. It's getting out of control. [S]It's really upsetting because we have... When we play it on iTunes that's the only song we have on the album So whenever it plays and it's done it just loops and starts playing itself again. So I'm 20 minutes in and I'm like "did I just hear this song 6 times?" Simon doesn't know that I bought the whole album but I have that song on loop. I mean... No... I also listen to it when I'm working out and I find it to be very good to help me to work out Because I picture everyone with their buff bodies and I'm like "2PM can do it, I can do it!" I keep on wondering why you do this like... lame dance... [M]Ugh! Work it out! [S]Worst dance of the year. One of the best songs, but one of the worst dances. [M]I don't know... Yeah... It didn't really match. The song was so sexy and like manly And i love the song and the video did not do it for me at all. but MAN that song is awesome~ First I want to talk about T-ara N4's "Jeon Won Diary" which was absolutely awesome Martina didn't like it for some reason because she sucks when it comes to music I don't know how you can put this on the list when we totally disagree on this song. Because well I totally disagree with how much you love 2PM's "A.D.T.O.Y."... But you still Like that song. I like it... You have to like it a Bit. "Jeon Won Diary" was so fun! [M]Maybe I like it this much but wouldn't... *Simon starts singing* How many songs have we had this year that are actually good freaking fun? There are very few. So many have been these awkward patch-work songs that aren't actually enjoyable but this song was fun [S]And we don't have that a lot [M]It was patch-worky too. You keep skipping straight to the chorus [M]And forgetting about that "zazazazazaza" that was the entire beginning of this song. [S]It was great as well! *Martina runs out of arguments* [M]Daksal (Gossebumps) Ok, we can both agree on this song. MBLAQ's "Smoky Girl" I think it's probably The Best song of the year this far. And you know what we found out? We found out that Zion T actually produced or made this song [S]Supposedly [M]And I recently just fell head-over-heels in love with Zion T's album. And I'm like totally amazed. Because this "Smoky Girl" song is so freakin good! The video isn't the best video. It's a cool video but the Song is like... [S]It is a gloriously wonderful song [M]*starts singing* Smoky gurl smoky gurl smoky gurl smoky gurl [M]*continues singing* [S]Yes, the chorus is a lil bit repetitive but it just sounds so good! *Martina continues singing the chorus* [S]Repeat for another 45 seconds [M]I didn't even finish the actual chorus. The vocal "nanananana nanana smoky girl~" It's just so smooth... You know what it sounds like? it sounds like a club lounge music. It's dancy but it's loungy Whatever it is. Best song of the year. Best song MBLAQ ever did either. Yeah... Oh really!? [S]Yep this song is great [M]*starts singing "Cry"* [S]You just wanna make fun of "Cry" that's... [M]I Like that song! Another song that we can both agree on being totally awesome is PSY's "Gentleman" [M]This is an amazing song. [S]It's still the 2nd most viewed K-pop ideo EVER! It's... [M]I don't think the views would mean anything to the song itself. [S]So are people just watching for no reason? [M]People watched it because it was PSY And they b***** complaining because they are like "ew this song isn't as good as "Gangnam Style"" But this song is freakin awesome. if you had never heard "Gangnam Style"... [S]I love it. I like it more than "Gangnam Style" [M]Yeah, me too! If you had never heard "Gangnam Style" and this was the 1st song to come out you'd be like "This song is amazing" But it's like everyone has their angry jealous hats on and they can't admit how good this song is. [M]This song was amazing [S]I really like that remix edition that they approved by the EYK Crew the "EYK like a man" [M]Oh yeah. That's a really good one too [S]That was glorious [M]That's actually our 2nd favorite song of the year I know a song that I Totally love but people are going to be surprised because we didn't review. It's Heo Young Saeng's "The Art of seduction" I Love this song and you're crazy socks! [S]You're much more into like dicoey stuff than I am But you love T-ara's stuff and it's all disco! No but that's like... disco functastic... [M]Oh... Really? [S]This is just like... Old disco... It feels... [M]You be careful mister! [M]I'm burning up yeah, I'm burning up yeah.~ [S]I would have liked this song if it came out in the early 2000s. Listen! This song was amazing. This song is just as "Sexy Love" That kind of like disco-ey kind of song. [S]Sexy love? [M]Yeah. By T-ara [S]Oh! Pyep pyep pyep pyep pyep pyep (Marina laughing at Simon's lag) I just the little hamster in Simon's head going like... OH! Sexy love. That one. Pyep pyep pyep pyep pyep pyep. This is the same like Pyeop pyeop pyeop Simon's enthusiasm is making me feel sad [S]The song is ok. It isn't moving as much as you like it. [M]This song was totally amazing. I absolutely loved it. I'm sorry we didn't get a chance to review it because i think Lee Hi's "Rose" came out instead [S]And that is also one of our favorite songs. [M]It is also one of our favorite songs of the year. It's very different from the rest of the songs that we mentioned because it's much more like slow and serious [M]And it's a ballad [S]It's a really beautiful song. it's really hard for me to like ballads. I really love this song. And I thought it was so powerful and amazing. Her vocals were so moving~ We don't have a Korean singing. A song we both agree on and that's really cool also is Wonder Boyz's "Tarzan" I like how you say that like a DJ from a radio show (Imitating Radio DJs) [M]The song that we agree on that was totally cool [S]Well it's because it's difficult for us to agree on songs that we both like. [M]No this song was AMAZING There are no reggaeton songs at all existing in K-pop [S]Again this is a song that You like a lot more than I do It's a cool song but you've overplayed it so much that I kind of dislike it now *le gasp* [S]It's like "Gangnam Style" has been played so much in our house [M]But you still like it [S]It's still cool.... Femeyamafemeyama TARZAN Femenemafemenema TARZAN~ [S]And the song that I'm going to end off with that I'm not going to let Martina interrupt me for is 4 Minute's "What's your name". We never got a chance to review it but I really like this song! [M]No you don't... You... (Simon singing the song and Martina laughing at it) [M]Now I'll tell you what you like about this song No. And it's a terrible song. It was 4Minute's worst song. There are a million other songs that are better How about "I My Me Mine"? [S]Well 4minute has better songs but this was a fun song. I'm trying to say, that I found this song catchy. [M]That was a terrible video [S]I found this song catchy. [M]There are lots of songs those i found catchy those didn't make it into our list. [S]They can't pronounce their group name all too well but I still found the song catchy [M]No, ok... [S]And I really wish we got the chance to review it [M]Fine. Then I wish that we had a chance to talk about Jaejoong's "MINE" and U-kiss's "Standing Still" which are my additional 2 things that you do not agree with [S]You added two songs. I only added one. [M]Yeah but I love them. I love both of those songs. So that's it for our list.
