Hi, We are the Angarita Brothers. Last year we released a song that some of you may have heard,
Se Valiente Venezuela.
Today we want to sing you a song written by us called Caminemos. We dedicate it to
the students, the hard battle, and Venezuela.
A divided country, democracy is what we ask for,
The path chosen by the use of our rights to vote.
Damn the soldier who points his gun towards his people.
And damn the silent who don't fight for their rights.
A country with people who are bright and can persevere.
Tired of abuse and corruption, Today I take to the streets, and all my love to my land i give.
Theres a path that i see so clearly, where we put our country before our wallets.
and the law before the faith that things will change, when that change is never seen.
I heard that courtesy never took away from courage. I say Venezuela be courageous.
Lets leave the courtesy for another day, and unite today.
The creativity, the passion, my people, unique and inventive. what can we do with all this emotion,
when we know we deserve something better.
Let happiness be the flag of the country, and the tyranny the past, not the present.
I have memories of my childhood resurfacing. Love and desire for a country, my ambition
and my hope are born again in Venezuela.
Venezuela, her colors run free through veins, lullabied by the anthem of my land, Venezuela.
Venezuela, opaqued by tyrants soon to go.
We'll make her the cleanest, the most just, and beautiful once again, Venezuela.
Lets walk, forward, forward walking towards tomorrow. I've awoken with all my forces
even though my bed was calling. And don't let the love for power,
over power your love for the land that saw you grow up.
Peace will be my port, my glory. My reward, my hope, and my joy.
and for what it's worth in the world, i want to live free and die a citizen.
A passive and inactive life, is the image of death, the abandonment of life.
It's anticipating nothing before it comes, said Simon Bolivar.
