Dr. Karen Cichowski - Neurofibromatosis & mpnsts

Hi, my name is Karen Cichowski, I'm an investigator at Brigham And Women's Hospital at Harvard Medical School and today, yesterday I spoke about our research in developing therapeutic agents for MPNSTs. We had some very exciting results combining two different drugs that caused major tumor regression in our mouse model of MPNST. We're very hopeful that this can move forward in clinical trials and we're working very hard with companies to do this. We hope that ultimately this work may not only impact patients with MPNSTs, but other tumor manifestations as well.
