On a bird feeding setup you can put a baffle on that setup to keep the squirrels off – to
keep them from accessing any of the feeders that are on there. You just have to put the
baffle at the right height, and make sure your feeder system is about 10 feet away from
any trees or houses that the squirrels can jump over to it.
If you already have something, too many trees, you already have a feeder out there, you want
to be able to keep the squirrels off. You can actually also use a cage system. The cage
system, something like this – you can also use squirrel resistant or squirrel proof feeders
that are designed for feeding the birds, but deny squirrels access to the food.
There are a lot of different options to help keep the squirrels away from all of your bird
food, keeping that food just for your birds.
