About The Victor 884 Motor Controller

here we have the innovation first victor 884 it is an old but still good motor controller um, it came out in 2006 and many teams still use it um, it does not have can same as the talon and it is not very linear however, this year they are quite cheap just a little bit cheaper than the talons there's a new victor 888 which is linear like the talon it'll be interesting to see whether the victor 888 or the talon are more popular as they both have similar features there isn't a whole lot to say about the victor they're very small and they are in many ways like the talon they're not susceptible to metal shavings, same as the talon that's a big plus for many teams it has very similar connections to the talon power in pwm a jumper for choosing either brake or coast and output to your motor right here's your calibration button and your status LED you can see right here, all the transistors and a fan it's a lot like a talon but older and not as linear
