I didn't really know which way to go. I did a lot of praying and what now? I tore my achilles. Are you serious, Lord? I'm questioning God; You know, stuff like that. I didn't know where I was going and I didn't have any money for school Receiving a scholarship at Belhaven had a huge impact on me attending here. Knowing that I've received a scholarship for all the hard work and all the difficult things that I put up with all through high school, it makes me feel like it wasn't for nothing. I never thought that I would come to Belhaven, but my first day I felt like I'm finally home. This school, the people I met they've been supportive until now so I'm glad I'm here. I would not be here today at Belhaven if it weren't for the scholarship that I have received. Receiving a scholarship to Belhaven definitely enabled me to come back because my parents, they were like, "For freshman year she can "this is good, a good, christian school where she can make friends and "get a college experience," but it was really a gift from some random stranger that I will never meet in my life but was able to convince them to let me come back. If I didn't have a scholarship, I wouldn't have come here because I couldn't afford it otherwise. I would be at a state school studying I have no idea what. To alumni and friends, I just really want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to earn a higher education. I would just like to thank anyone who's given to belhaven. Thank you for your donations. Thank you for your generosity. I'm excited and very, extremely thankful that I have this scholarship. I just want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for this wonderful chance to grow as a Christian and as a follower of Christ. I want to thank you so much for this help. Without you guys, I wouldn't be here today. Thank you.
