I was given a doctor's kit when I was five years old,
and when my grandfather was in the hospital I thought,
even at the innocent age of five,
I could help my grandfather so I went to the hospital.
I was drawn to care-taking and taking care of people.
Ultimately, as time past, my oldest brother,
ten years my senior, became a physician.
He and I discussed, one time,
that he was going to be a plastic surgeon and be a cranial facial surgeon
and that I should go in to dentistry and become a maxillofacial surgeon
then as a brother team we would join forces
and take care of everything from the neck up.
But, I found that the draw of cosmetic care is more of a reward to me
than actually reconstructing a patient's jaw,
which, you know, has got its very important merits,
but I felt that I would really take pride in doing the work
that you can see.
